2 of the pictures came out black for some reason. I see one of them that looks like a crappie or a large bluegill.
The Adirondacks have some crazy weather due the the northern latitude but also proximity to Canadian arctic air masses and the higher elevation gives the Adirondacks a climate similar to Northern Canada or parts of Southern Alaska.
I have spent a lot of time in the Adirondacks and been to the Ranger school in Wanakena it's very isolated up there. I went to Forestry school and a lot of my classmates enrolled in the Ranger school for forestry tech jobs. I remember driving in the middle of a blizzard near Tupper lake going to Wanakena one night with my buddy it was a cool experience.
Now I see them... looks like a bluegill. They taste good! Nice bonfire. Thanks for posting this.
